Shocked by good luck

I just started my rebuild journey last Monday and do far have had tremendous luck. I never had even heard of GW or PFD or any of that lingo a week ago today, but as I write this I am happy to report that I have had one 30day late removed by kohls, one 30day late removed by Cap1, a collection from CPA (Comcast) supposed to be removed, or at least I'm hoping, by end of week, and finally today, a gas bill which had four 120day lates. I GW nicor ( the gas co.) and asked for an adjustment. Within an hour I got a response that nicor, who recently was acquired by AGL(?), no longer reports to the credit bureaus and that they will work on getting that removed this week.

My scores in my sig are accurate as of the dates listed. My cc util will be 0, and the baddies should all be removed by end of month. I can't wait to see what lender pulls will be at the beginning of may. I'm seriously in shock, and typically always have bad luck so it's hard for me to believe how quick all of this has happened.

Im glad Kohls worked out for you!  Mind sending me the contact info for cap1?  I had a charged-off account with them from 6 years ago which is showing as paid as agreed, but the account is permanently suspended, so I cannot even re-establish payment history.

Just to update this...

Now that my util is down at 8%, all baddies are removed, my score jumped from an EQ FICO of 629, to an EQ FICO pulled by a lender of 772 yesterday.  

I honestly can't believe how much this site has helped me out.  I was just hoping to get over 700, but this is just amazing.

That's great news! 

Did you GW the cc's or PDF (which I don't even know what that means ) )  to get the late payments removed? How long did it take for it to clear from your credit report?
