I just recently checked my credit score and was surprised that it was as high as it was - 740. BUT when I looked closer at the score, I received an F for Payment history. My payment history had been stellar until we had to short sell our home for a huge loss.
The question I have is that on my report, it still has the outstanding balance on my report. Is that correct? If not, how can I fix that? I feel that is what is killing me trying to get another credit card.
