Hi all

I was looking for some advice. I apparently have an old hsbc account on my report that shows the date of first deliquency 02/2009. I dont remember the account but it might be mines yet i have never recieved anyything from bill collectors to pay it. Should i bother disputing it?

Re: Should I Dispute?

I would call the creditor and inquire about the account.  Perhaps it will refresh your memoty.

If the creditor still owns the debt and has not hired a debt collector to assist in its collection, then you would not hear from a debt colletor.

Until you have an idea of what is or is not inaccurate in their reporting, a dispute is premature.
