My dismissed BK is due to fall off in September 2015. EX and TU have already removed it. I have tried twice with EQ and each time they said no. Should I keep trying? Does it do any good to keep trying? I need it off now because twice I have been turned down for credit with the BK cited as the sole reason.
I would definitely try again once June gets here. Maybe even try once we get into May, but June you should have a good chance of success.

That sounds good. I'll try in May and if it's a no go, I'll try every month!
Typically with EQ its 2-3 months in advance that they would be willing to grant the exclusion.

That would be June. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try in May?

You might as well. All they can do is say no.
Eq policy is to report dismissed bk's for 10 years

Ok it's now May and I tried. It was a no-go. However the rep kept trying to get me to sign up for all sorts of monitoring services. Each time I said no he would put me on hold and come back with another offer. I started to ask if I purchased the service would he remove the BK! LOL.
