My DH just added me as an AU on his Chase Slate card. It has a zero balance & a $9K CL. The rep told him they will send a card to me & the tradeline will appear on my CR. They did not ask for my SSN. The rep told my DH they only needed my SSN if I were applying for my own card. Is that not strange that my SSN wasn't needed for verification? Just my name & address were enough to have it show on my CR?

Um, they need your SS so it reports to your Credit Report
Actually they don't need your SS#, they can still match you up.
