I disputed the status of two of my discharged school loans that were showing up with a current pay status of 120+ days late. They should be showing up at least as assigned to government, at the very least. I disputed with TU an EQ. The furnisher has until 11/27 to respond to TU, and 11/26 for EQ and 12/4 for one I had to submit online as they didn't file for the two loans. I'm in a race with time and it's driving me CRAZY lol!!! Am I alone with this experience? Do most of your furnishers respond promptly generally? I suppose I'm searching for some answer that I really just have to wait for...
I am sitting right next to you in a very crowded WAITING boat. I have 3 CAs on my report each has two accounts...that makes 6 accounts
I am waiting for results of BBB Complaint and CRA dispute for Midland. Yesterday I rejected their offer via BBB and CRA disputes should be completed 12/4.
I am waiting for results from a CFPB complaint and CRA dispute with Portfolio Recovery for inaccurate reporting of information. CRA dispute completed 12/4
Yesterday I sent GW (4th times a charm) to FCO ( 2 joint liability for broken apartment leases)...other parties paid NOTHING. I am waiting to hear back (rejected 3x already)
Monday, I sent copies of the vacated judgment to CRAs. I will be waiting for my CR to be updated...maybe in 2 weeks or so??
...Be encouraged. At least we are rebuilding our credit instead of doing nothing and complaining about getting sued or denied credit!!!! Yay myFico!!!! I am trying.
Keep the faith thru the ups and downs !
Oh gosh newmom you have a lot going on! That's awesome that you're being so proactive. I really need to start my GWs next. I'm torn between disputing one batch of school loans that are showing up as a paid collection instead of assigned to goverment. Don't even know if changing that status would make a difference?
Thank Kool it feel really good to take care of these things. Keeping the faith!
