So frustrated

Ran my wifes EQ Powerscore today and it's 608..we need a 620 to start building our dream home...just frustrating!!

Her UTL is 4% all past dues paid for a solid year, collections paid off (2k) and still nothing. Started Nov '13 at a 519....so close but so far!!!

For the collections you have paid off have you tried to GW them so they come off your reports?

Just during telephone conversations and two of them are student loans who wont budge. The others are Target, Midland (target) and enhanced recovery.

Enchanced Recovery, if it's 0 .. DV them. They'll delete if the balance is 0.

I've thought about that but read on threads nightmare stories in regards to Disputes. Sometimes the verbage never gets deleated.

On 06/02/2014 we ran her credit which showed a 624 EQ and a 624 TU. EQ had an account on Dispute (student loan) therefore we could not get a pre approval letter. Once the verbage came off, her EQ went down to 604. Just so frustrating, we have the down payment, we have the DTI, we have the salary, the builder is set for us to pick a lot but this stupid credit!!!
