I've opted out and updated names/addresses (not that it will stick, but we'll see).
I mailed 3 GW letters today to HSBC, JCP, and Sears. Sears was a settlement, the rest were 90 days in 2008, all were due to getting caught in the OK ice storms away from home for several weeks.
Sent TU a dispute on a student loan that is reporting incorrectly (several 120s, but was in deferment).
Sent pre-HIPAA letters to all 3 for the few remaining medical collections.
STILL waiting on the IRS to remove the lien (PIF, using the new rule to have it removed). Trying to figure out what to do about the state tax lien as it will be the only really bad thing left if the above is all successful.
6 months to get my scores to 660...
