If the same account number is showing a CO and an open current account then there is a problem. I would dispute directly with Ginnys on it and if that does not resolve then possibly a CFPB complaint would be in order.
So both equifax and TU updated my Ginnys account with my last date of activity of 7/2014 but are also reporting the account is closed. The account is open and has a credit line of 750.00.It is the same account number. I used it last month and paid in full. Below is what TU is reporting. Now that the CRA's are still reporting wrong do to what Ginny's is reporting to them. Is it time to send a 623 to get them to report the correct information?

So I have sent all the artillary that I can. I sent a 623 Dispute letter, Complaint to the Wisconsin BBB, and sent in a complaint to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I hope this account finally gets deleted. Now I have to sit and wait another 30 days or less???? Wish me luck.
