Store Cards? Collections? Disaster

Our debt consists of small things mostly from irresponsibility. We've had a 20k custody battle come up in the last 6 mths and stupidly stopped payments out of necessity really though.
Debts-
VS store card 388 over 90 days past due
Maurices 400 over 90 days past due
Buckle 276 over 90 days
Military Star 2301. Current.
Verizon 300 in Collections
Direct Tv 741 in Collections
Ally Auto Loan at 9% 9400 left. Current.

We are attempting to clean up credit scores. Mine is currently 640ish. Husband's is 530s. The collections verizon and direct tv ones are both from several years ago. Would it be beneficial to see if they will settle for less than the full amount? What about the store cards if not yet in collections will they require the full amount? Trying to figure out the best way to dig out of this hole so we can get our scores up.

Re: Store Cards? Collections? Disaster

Those store cards that are 90 days late but not yet CO or sent to collections I would handle first.  Yes they will probably require full payment to stop a CO/CA.  And that would be your best bet.  Just make sure they have not proceeded with either yet.

You really don't want either of those to hit your report now.  Your scores would tank.

For the 2 in collections, is the OC reporting along with a CA?  Just the OC?
