It is paid. Send them GW letters asking to delete.
YES!!!!!!!!
So here's the thing...I have no idea who paid it. Could have been my husband and he just didn't say anything...but I'm worried it was like a profit/loss write off type thing.
My Tri-merge breaks it down like this:
Experian: Paid, was a charge off
Equifax: Bad Debt & Placed for collection & skip, PAID CHARGE OFF CREDIT CARD
Transunion: Account paid in full; was a charge off, Paid profit and loss
It was a CO which is the same thing as profit and loss. That is only an accounting term, the debt is still owed.
This TL specifically says it was paid so that means someone paid it.

It is a paid CO. Someone paid it.
No, it would not report as paid. It would have been bought with a debt attached to it.
