I have a quick question about requesting a goodwill adjustment on a couple late payments on a student loan. My loan is with PNC Bank but it is serviced by Great Lakes. I wrote Great Lakes and they responded that as a servicer they are audited and must report the late payments. Should I continue sending requests to Great Lakes until I get someone more sympathetic or am I barking up the wrong tree? Should I send my request to PNC Bank? If so, does anyone have a good contact at PNC for this? Or a good contact at Great Lakes would be helpful too.
