Success! Credit Management and Convergent

I have been working with my boyfriend on improving his credit score.  We sent in a few Goodwill letters thanks to the advice on this forum and honestly, I was not expecting anything to change.  However, of the 3 we sent a few weeks ago, two derogatory remarks have been removed from his Credit Report!!  I was not expecting this to happen so soon and was planning on resending them if nothing changed but this is a great surprise!  His credit score jumped 28 points and is not at a 626!

Thanks to everyone's advice on this forum.  Now we just need to tackle a few more.  I'm hoping his credit score will increase to 700 by the end of the year, at least that's my goal!  Do you think that is possible?

Congrats! Keep up.
Keep uti low, do not miss payments and try to get baddies removed.
Also you need positive revolving and installement tradelines to get to 700.

Are you saying you actually found a way to delete Convergent from your boyfriends report ? PLEASE TELL ME HOW ?

You don't need installement TL's to get to 700.. 800 yes, but not 700

Yep! I was able to get Convergent to remove negative information from his credit report.  All I did was send in a Goodwill letter.  He hasn't even finished paying them yet but they took it off the credit report.  I was shocked!
