Success, Next Step of Action?

I started rebuilding my credit on 8/15/14 right after my BK7, and with the help of this forum I was able to clean up my credit report and increase my scores.

I was able to open two CC accounts, both with Capone

1. QS $3000 Limit

2. Classic $500 Limit (Not Reporting Yet)

3. American Express AU $3500

My credit score jumped from mid 500's to EQ 637, TU 661, EX 644. I am smiling right now.

I was denied by Comenity bank for overstock, and by Barclays.

I do have few questions and need suggestions on next step of actions.

1. Inquiries- I have 5 of them, is there a way of removing them?

2. What should be my next step of actions to improve my credit score?

3. What should I stay away from doing?

Thanks ladies and gents,

Happy Holidays to every one!

you will probably want to make sure you sit on things for a little while, your AAoA is probably pretty low since these new cards....

if you are going to try to do anything immediately, i would get them now, and then sit and garden your score for a little while.... my AAoA is 7years and it is considered a grade C .... lol....

My credit journey has completed. I am currently sitting at 800+ across the board.

I started my journey here years ago, and thanks to MyFico, it really is possible.

1- Nothing you can really do about inquiries. They are only a minor part of your score anyway, so don't even bother.

2- Time to 'garden' and let those cards mature and grow.

3 - Avoid the temptation to charge those cards up frivolously and let the balance ride. Thats a huge score killer.

I actually don't keep a balance. I have charged both cards for $1600 together in one month in different transactions.

Paid each transaction off right away after it was charged.
