I have been researching online trying to find success stories with Berks Credit and Collections but cannot find anyone. I have a UGI/PNG bill that is showing up on there. I have emailed them regarding the debt multiple times but to no avail. Should I certify, return receipt a letter than dispute?
What did you end up doing with Berks? Here in the same boat.

I actually lucked out. The debt was assigned to Berks. Then berks sent it back to the OC (UGI Penn Natural Gas). I now have a payment plan set-up with UGI and have been told that they will remove the collection from my report

Congrats.
I sent a PFD yesterday. Now it's the waiting game...
I recently sent a DV to Berks. I am interested in what they do with it. It's one of those things that started at 50 bucks and now it's 100. I don't see how it's worth their time; if they turn it back over to the OC I will see if they will do a PFD or GW.

I also just sent a PFD letter. I just started rebuilding and so far I'm 2/2 on PFD's. Hopefully this will make it 3 for 3.
Turns out that Berks doesn't have an active license with Arizona, so this one should be an easy off. It's not even much money. It still baffles me that a company would buy a $54 debt. The chiropractor could not have gotten that much from them for it. They should have been happy with the nearly $500 I spent with them and moved on.

has anyone had success with Berks, they seem to play hardball with people.
i just sent PFD letter on the 10/22 and got a Verification letter back with all verification documents on 10/29, i just can't afford to pay $330, trying to pay half and see if that works.
I can tell you that I just paid a bill in full with Berks, $131. It is off my credit report now, but that maybe because I am in New York and the deragatory is over five years old. I did not ask them for a PIF and I did not contact the CRAs, but the entry is gone.
