Success with Dell Financial Services?

Hi Ficos,

I am hoping someone has some info. Has anyone had any success with Dell and PFDs? I owe them $1376, which I can pay in full, but they are telling me that they do not do PFDs. Since this is a settlement from the original $2280, they are saying that it will "probably" say "paid in full as oppose to a settlement." I know my scores will prob not increase unless I can get this deleted. Should I just pay and then GW until they give in? Or, should I just hold out for a PFD? 

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

They seem pretty tough to crack. I've been trying to get them to accurately update with EX that my account was IIB. It's getting to the point of taking them to court. They finally sent me a letter stating they would update it, but they haven't.

It's been really difficult dealing with them. At this point, I think I am just going to pay them and hope for the best. Hopefully, it will say "paid if full," as oppose to "settled." The ideal would be to have it deleted..
