I had a collection account with portfolio recovery they do not do pfd's and to goodwill an account it needs to be paid in full and even then they are hard to deal with when it comes to goodwill's. The only reason why my account was deleted, as portfolio keep reporting my account in error for months even after it was paid in full, I became so frustrated, that I emailed the ceo on how I felt and that very same day the ceo emailed me back stating the account would be deleted and the very next day it was gone off my ex report.
