I have two loans that wend to default and I consolidated them. I am back in school and have several loans since, but the loans show about a year of 120 days past due.

These emails are so encouraging! I am in the same situation as all who have posted and have tried to work this by phone and equally had my request rejected. I have 2 lines 90days because I didn't know Nelnet had my loan, the original servicer was ACS/BOA...long story short, I was in the middle of relocating and as soon as I found out Nelnet held my loan, I called and make my acct current. Unfortunately they received payment one day after my account was reported to the bureaus. I sent in a check through my online banking with Chase so it took 5 days to get to Nelnet and the rep didn't tell me (and I was not aware of it otherwise) that I could put my loan into forbearance - that would have made it look like a current account in the eyes or reporting because nothing short of 90 days is reported by Nelnet.
I sent a GW Letter and this is the response:

can you please tell me what to say to nelnet. and give me the email address. I had a similar situation nov and dec of 2012. as soon as i found out I had nelnet I paid every month. I have just closed with nelnet and consolidated but I need to get it off my report. Thank you so much

Hi, I read your post and I am having somewhat the same issue with Nelnet. I did call Nelnet and spoke to a representative and she told me it can't be removed what did you do differently and what was the number you called. I am really hoping I can get this change ASAP. Any information you can give me I would really appreciate. Thank you.
