I sent an email to a bank that said I owed $32.53 to them and is on my credit report. She said that
Please be advised that the total amount due to bank name would be $32.53 in the name of harpo. In order for The Bank to remove these items from your credit report, they would need to be paid in full.
So that is good. Not a big thing but one less item in my accounts section.
