I started to take my credit repair journey seriously this year. When I pulled my TU score is was a low 494 and my EQ was 515 in April 2011 as of today my Tu score is 642 and EQ is 581!!!!!!!!! I have 3 medical collections that will be deleted his week from EQ and I can't wait to see the increase for that. I hope to be 650 across the boards by this time next year so that I can get my dream home.
wow that's great! I'm in the 400's myself and it sucks...sent out DVs and PFDs, already got ONE PFD but have to wait til november to pull my credit again (i only do the quarterly pulls =) and we got my student loan in rehab, although wont see a difference until April next year for that one when it gets pulled out of collections! =) seeing your scores really motivated me after having some bad luck today trying to PIF an account! blah! thanks for sharing!

Shai! That's a wonderful jump! Just a sughestion...in your signature below, would you be willing to put your starting date with your starting score and current date with current score? I know it's in your post but sometimes, it helps people to visually see those dates and numbers side by side! And if you post somewhere else, others will see your success and be motivated to do the same!
Thanks for sharing!
Congrats!
Sure no problem will do.
Congratulations! How did you get 3 medical collections off your record so quickly?
That is some great success!! Congratulations on your increase!
The medical collections were from an emergency room visit for me and my 2 children following a car accident. The insurance never paid and they were sent to collections, I finally got in contact with the Insurance company and they sent payment. I then wrote a letter to the collection agency (CFC/Syndicated Office Systems) explaining the situation and they agreed to delete since it was an insurance error. I had other collections removed also which included chase charge-off, comcast, and a sprint account.
