TODAY IS FINALLY THE DAY!

After watching my credit reports like a hawk - daily pulls, impatient scorewatch updates, the works - today is finally the day that I feel like my score is going to be the best that it can be. A 6.5 year old truck repo is finally being showed as paid, so the hubs and I are applying for preapproval with 3 different loan officers today to see which of them can get us into a house.

Thanks everyone!!! I'll have to update if (WHEN! ) we get the preapproval

It's been a rough journey. From 555/560/578 last year to last months pull at 617 / 620 to todays pull (Happy mothers day to me!) at 687/670! Wooooo!!!

Now I'm just anxiously awaiting some feedback from the brokers.... pins and needles!

Thank you everyone!!

We received very positive news from two of the three lenders so far... Looks like a pre approval is in the pipeline for us! Hopefully in a few months, we can close on a house with enough bedrooms for the new arrival due this summer!

I very much appreciate all of the support and advice received around here. Even my LO said I've done an AWESOME job (his words, caps and all) on the repair journey and I could not have done it without these boards.
