TU HIPAA question - should I just call them?

TU deleted all of my medical collections with my pre-HIPAA letter, including ones I didn't mention in the pre-HIPAA letter.

Now one of them has re-appeared.  I think it happened because they FINALLY (after more than a month) updated to "paid", since I paid the OC.  (The OC told me they'd report it as paid to the CA at the end of March.  The CA updated to "paid" a few days ago).

Should I just call TU and ask them about it?

Is there anything on your TU report stating this collection has been disputed/verified?

Not that I see in CCT.  It was definitely off on the TU report I pulled after I got the letter saying they were deleting them all.

Check your TU report at their site. If there is no such notation on your TU report, start the HIPAA process all over again. Send TU the pre-HIPAA dispute letter. My money says it will be deleted.Smiley Happy

One more thing, keep hard copies of ALL of the reports you pull in case TU tries to jerk you around.
