Are there any credit card companies out there that will approve you if you have an active tax lein?

I have a massive tax lien and I got a pre-approved offer for a $500 Bank of America card with a $99 security deposit, the Discover It secured card, and several store cards using the shopping cart trick. Most other places have turned me down, but I think that's more score related than the lien.

Capital one approved dh and I with a tax lien. It has since been released and I'm waiting to see if it gets removed. Good luck.
