Is it possible for someone to do a GW letter on a tax lien, if possible can someone give me a good example of one?

Send letter to your locally elected state legislators (from the district in which you live) try the states attorney generals office of collections, sec of state and sec of treasurary.

If it's a state lien then yes. Don't under estimate the power an elected official can wield on your behalf. I would state with ag's office and then go from there. Call first and do some recon then send letters.
