Tax Paid, Lien released, and withdraw approved! Next..

I'm getting closer to a cleaner credit report and hopefully better score. I've had a fed tax lien since Oct 2010. I paid it off on 4/25. I got my release letter in the mail on Monday 5/19. I faxed form 12277 to the Adv group on Tuesday 5/20. I called the central lien office today to check the status. They said the withdraw was approved Wed 5/21 and I should get a letter in the mail by the end of next week! That was quicker than I thought would happen. I've got the CRA fax #s ready in the wings. So happy I should have a clean credit report in about a month from now.

Congrats! I am trying to get one withdrawn too...glad to hear it worked for you. I have not hear back at all from my requests as of yet....sigh!
