I just wanted to say thanks forum for all the great advice, I just had a small victory on this credit journey, emailed Cap 1 EX office, asked for a credit line increase on a card that I had when it was Orchard Bank, request was denied, but my other Cap 1 card was upgraded to Quicksilver, (1,000 loc) with cash back rewards, and they took away the annual fee on my card with the 200 dollar credit limit, and also gave me back the 35.00 af from this year, I was denied for the increase, because I still have 2 Collections, and too many new open revolving credit accounts (went on an app. spree) I learned my lesson, too much credit, too soon. I was told to apply again in six months, but I am happy with Cap 1 office, nice, helpful, and prompt service. Thanks to the forum for the info.
