The Rebuilders Club: December Goals

Since 2/16/08, I have done a good job at rebuilding my scores.

EXP -618

TU - 581

EQU - 542

Now as of Today, 8/6/08

EXP - 675 ****A Huge 57 points***** I did hit 679, but applied for Mortgage, turned down and 2 CC app's.

TU - 649 **** A Helleva 68 points *****

EQU - 586 ****A jump in 44 points****

My goals for Dec '08.....To pay off my 3 baddies with Midland, Portfolio and West Asset. None of these people will do a PFD . So I have to accept that I can't pay off all these balances, will have to do a settlement offer.  I tired always everything with these three nothing seems to work. I have a Cap 1 for $300, part of credit steps, 3 month into this hopefully I can get a nice CLI aft 5 months, will try to hit luv button. What to get another CC or Retail Card to get a better credit mix. I have CJ for $1500 never have brought anything from them, Kinda scared after stories, I've read.

As for my fico scores,

I would like to have EXP & TU over 700's, and at least have EQU in High 600's. And have at least couple of grand back in my cash reserve.

As of 8/4/08 My scores are very damaged from divorce nastiness I have sent out 6 Prehippa letters(they are paid) 8 DV's and 3PFD's anyway my scores are

408 Equifax

481 transunion

522 Experian

I am also paying ALL current (1CC and 1 Autoloan) on time

I would like to have 550's or better across the board in Dec is this possible?

What would be a realistic goal for march 09? hoping to do some house hunting around that time

Question:  What site do you get your scores from?  And are they accurate Fico scores.?  Or estimates scores?

Just pulled my credit report a few days ago, the first time in about 6 years.

So I would like to buy a house in 2 years and want to get my scores as high as possbile. Through this site I have learned the basics of  credit and will continue to educate myself and never destroy my credit again(1000 dollars got me here).

So my current scores

597 EQ

612 EX

634 TU

1 co falls off in sprin and the other next spring(thanks for dragging it longer cap1)

My goal for December is to make it as close to 700 as possible.I hope to do so by paying my 2 new TL in full each month and avoding applying for new credit!

October: Eq. 550, Ex. 600, Tu. 620

December: Eq. 580, Ex. 620, Tu, 635

I have alot of work to do (recovering credit addict) . I'm pushing it expecting them to be that High! Gotta have a dream though. Thanks for the motivation.

I would really like to be in the 700 club. But Im not going to concentrate too hard on my scores. I've got a plan to pay off as many collections as possible and keep my cc util low to zero so I can get a refinance on my auto loan and hopefully have a mortgage in the next year or two.
I know when some med collections are paid and removed from CR that that can affect age and possibly lower scores so thats why Im not concentrating on a certain score but rather to get as many baddies as financially possible paid off and removed.

I just applied for a secured cc through my bank and got approved. I'm not too sure of my fico goal because I don't really know what is realistic BUT I'll take ANYTHING better than what I have. That credit card will be the only credit I have open and will apply for a new car within the next week or two. Good luck everyone, as we have heard and seen it CAN and WILL be done!!!

My goal is to try and get all of my scores in the higher 600's.  I finally made it to the 600 club today with EQ at 610.  My fako EX is 529 and TU is 554.  I am working on both and should have a lot of collections coming off of the TU report.  I don't know how I am going to get the my experian score up.
