I never thought I would see this day. As of 5/20/09, I have no derogs on any of my reports. It's been a long road! When I first came to these forums, my score was in the low 500's. With the help of this board, I started my credit recovery. The first thing I did was to have my Mom add me as an authorized user on 3 of her credit cards. I then started the repair, getting those items removed that should not have been there. I've done 4 PFD and 1 GW. I've even had a judgment removed via a motion to vacate.
I could literally cry now. It feels good to know I'm in control of my credit. I am in a position to buy a house now. I would not have imagined that possible just 2.5 years ago. To all who are where I was, just keep at it. Pay your current bills on time, and chip away at the old stuff. Time does heal all wounds. I
My midscore is 733! Yes they are FICO Scores, I had my LO pull them for a mortgage application.
Thanks to all the moderators and forum members. Your input is invaluable. You learn from everybody's experiences. I'll make sure to give back by contributing more and giving advice on the things that I can. I praise this forum and its members every chance I get.

Congrats! It is stories like this that made me stick around and work on my own credit problems back when I first joined.
