I'm not exactly sure why your score didn't drop back down.  Either it coincided with something else that happened or that comment about dispute still takes it out of scoring.

 

This is not a credit repair forum and I do know that disputing accurate information and/or suggesting others do is against the TOS of the forums.

I disputed three items and my score dropped 15+

Same here.  My score dropped 9 pts with a dispute.

So if I dispute an account on my CR, and it ends up being updated, does a mortgage lender look down on that? Would I have to wait until that particular account falls off my record before I apply for a mortgage?

You can not have any disputes on your CR's while obtaining a Mortgage.

Most lenders will make you have the disputes removed before they will approve the loan.

Starting Score: 504
July 2013 score:
EQ FICO 819, TU08 778, EX "806 lender pull 07/26/2013
Goal Score: All Scores 760+, Newest goal 800+

June 2017 update: All scores over 820, just pure gardening now.

Unless the account with the dispute tag has a 0 balance, then the manual undewriter will usually ignore it..
