It's so hard to wait for responses! I have two GW's emailed through PlanetFeedback, two PFDs sent out (on two small utility bills from my old apt I didn't even realize I owed), and a PFD to an old cell account.
For those of you who have done these steps, how long did you wait before resending? I'm impatient by nature, so I don't trust my personal timeline.
Hi KeepSwimming, I'm impatient too. I sent out a GW letter and it is driving me crazy waiting for a response. I wasn't sure when I should send another one. I did see in one post to wait 30 days for a response. Other than that I haven't seen a set rule about how long to wait. I think it depends on how the letters were sent. I did one via Planet Feedback and then sent on via snail mail. I am giving it three weeks before I send another one. Good Luck
Hey Rebuilding
Thanks for the tip. It's funny how it took me about 6 months to thrash my credit, but of course I want it all fixed in a week! I think if I see even one PFD or GW work, it will give me momentum and I'll calm down a bit.
I've found the opposite - I get a good result and then I'm more annoyed at non-good ones!
I think once a month sounds like a good interval to me. I'm hardly an expert, though. It's just a "how long do I personally think is reasonable" thing. Every day? Way too often. Every week? Sounds a little psycho to me. Every other week? Better, but still kind of a lot - although, perhaps you should gauge it based on the size of the organization. Huge faceless corporation? Once a week. Local CA? Once a month.
