There is hope.....

I wasn't able to get approved for anything, not even a secured card but Fingerhut Fresh start program approved me for $180......

Just wanted to post this for the ones that may not be having any luck...

Re: There is hope.....

I did the same thing..opened an account with Webank fresh start program.  After the initial pay off I believe they open it as a revolving account.  Capital One declined you for a secured card?

Re: There is hope.....

I had the same thing -- I had a 170$ CL with the fresh start program. instead of paying off a purchase in 6 months, I paid it off in 3. And now I have a 1000$ CL with Webbank/Fingerhut.
It's not a prime account, heck its not even all quality items, but it started me off somewhere. And after that i was able to get more and more credit lines. (including $6K NFCU nRewards, $800 Ny&Co, $500 Victorias Secret)
.
