This is my 27th wave of letters. I have two things left to tackle. Paid Illinois state tax lien and one collection reporting on only Experian. This time I am sending out a couple different variations and I am sending a few emails. Yes, I keep track. I have an entire filing cabinet full of replies, credit reports, dispute resolutions, denial letters...
I started in October of 2010 with the first wave. Over $500 dollars in postage so far.
Just wanted this to be a reminder to those that although I spend most of my time replying and giving (at least what I hope is ) solid opinions on rebuilding and accounts, I am still rebuilding myself. Maybe this is just a reminder to myself.
Don't get discourage folks, if GW letter 1 doesn't working, GW letter 10 might not either.
But, GW letter 17 might do the trick. In my case; I hope its GW letter 27.
Yes; I try different approaches with each one. That is essential to keeping focused I think.
Anyway, continued good luck with your journey!

Out of curiousity, what is highest round of letters that you have had a positive result with? Or what was the account that took the most rounds of letters and how many did you have to send? I think people will be motivated to continue on if they know that you had success in the 25th round or something like that... I know this post has personally motivated me to continue on...
have you recieved a response or? I sent my first round last Monday and no response yet or will the no respone equate to a denial of my request?
