This is what I have left on my credit should I pay ALL of this off

Medical 425

Medical 370

Capitol One 429

Enhanced Recovery Sprint 281

I have about 8 accounts in GOOD STANDING

I am working on getting my Credit card below 30% (only have one credit card)

Trying to get a home loan in March 2016

Will they require me to pay the medical bills off, before I can get a home loan?

Thanks so much for your help

They are such small amounts I would pay yes.

Offer PFD if that doesnt work just pay em.

Someone else will come along with info regarding home loans.  I know its very dependant on what type of loan you want, if you are making payments on it already all kinds of stuff!

Establishing two more bank credit card accounts would help immensely. Definitely pay the Capital One if the OC is reporting a balance as that will screw your UTI%. Lenders may or may not care about the Medical debt, it varies greatly.

For unpaid medical debt that is reporting on your CR:

1. Call the OC and ask that they recall the collection in exchange for full payment
2. Send the reporting CA a PFD offer
3. Google the HIPAA Process and contact its creator for help

Re: This is what I have left on my credit should I pay ALL of this off

I am a Mortgage Underwriter (the one that makes the credit decision on home loans) - medical collections are NOT counted against you and will not be required to be paid... on a Conventional loan or FHA.

From what I've read on these forums, they are pretty easy to get removed from your credit, and you might as well try as it will improve your FICO's.  For mortgage lending, we use your middle score out of all 3.

Hope this helps!
