Ticket Help

I'm helping my husband repair his credit...

A collection account is reporting for a speeding ticket, I remember him getting the ticket, I ALSO remember driving to the city where the ticket was issued and paying the ticket myself. So the collection agency shouldn't be reporting correct? Since I paid the ticket and it was paid through the county it was issued? How do I get this removed?

If you have proof of payment, i.e. receipt or cancelled check, then you should be able to forward to the CA to get it removed from your reports.  

If you do not have proof of payment then you'll likely need to start with the city court where your ticket was issued and look at their records.

Thank you, I will get proof that I paid the county and then contact the CA
