To DV or not to DV

Should I bother sending a DV to CA's that I know are past the 30 days?

Re: To DV or not to DV

You can.  They just don't have to validate or remove anything.  But who knows, they might.

Re: To DV or not to DV

I've actually found that most of the more credible CA's will validate even after the 30 days has passed.  The bottom feeders?  Not so much.  Smiley Happy

Re: To DV or not to DV

Since DVs dont compel any validation/verification, the issue is one of whether the DV has imposed a cease collection bar.

They can choose not to respond even if timely.  The real issue is one of violatiton of their cease collection bar without having verified.

Send a DV, timely or not, if you desire their statement that they have investigated and verify that they have basis to collect on the debt.
