I have a few student loans that have been transferred to different lending companies, and in the comment section on my report it reflects that the accouts were transfered/closed.
Could I have these accounts removed or is it soley up to the lender to remove the accounts? I feel that It should be removed if another lender is reporting it. Should I mail a certified letter requesting it be removed, if so does anyone have sample letters?
Will it make a difference on my report? I'm really trying to make my report clean and lean...straight to the point.
Does anyone know if my score will be impacted good/bad?
All advice is appreciated! Thanks
If the accounts are free from derogs you do NOT want them removed. They will add to your AAoA.
Never try to remove positive accounts.

"Clean" is good - "Lean" is NOT good. You want a nice FAT file - FAT with with positives, that is.
Oh okay that makes sense :-) I will leave it alone! Because it reflects no negative information.
