If you wait one year before you apply for anything else you may get to 800.

Thank you. I think I will take your advice. I would be happy to get my scores 750+ across all three bureaus. My equifax score is my lower score at 687 because of a 5 year old collection. I need to take care of that. TU and Experian are clean. I have opened 3 new accounts in the last six months so your advice of waiting at least a year is the right thing for me. I would like to one day buy a house. We will see.

Would like to congratulate you on your success, this is a huge win. Would like to ask..how many inquiry's do you have and what kind of hit did you take after applying for the new card?
I believe 10 total for TU over last 2 years (think 5 in last year) and 8 total over last two years (4 in last year) for experian after this application. So far, it does not look as if I took any kind of bad hit. I subscribe to several memberships and no points where deducted. However, I am not sure if that is the case on my fico score.
Look at them all and compare exactly what is reporting. My EQ shows one collection and the others do not show it. That keeps mine a bit lower. ALSO, different companies will pull a different report ( CRA ) than others. Ex., Chase pulled from my TU, Citi pulled from EQ. In other words, one may have more inquiries than another. I have been shopping for a RV travel trailer and started asking the banks as to which CRA they pull from.
