As everyone knows TU is great at removing items 6 months early. I had a auto loan with Nuvell and its gone from TU. I've talked to EQ and EX twice now and they won't remove. The lady I spoke with today at EX said I can call back 7/1 and could get it removed then EQ won't budge. Would sending a letter in the mail help or should I call again and see if I can get someone to do it?
At best, EX & EQ early exclude items 3 months out, unless you get really lucky or it was part of a dispute or something I guess. Alot of times they wont budge until 1 month prior to it falling off naturally.
You can always keep calling back & see if you get someone more lenient.
That's what I keep hearing but I also see people getting them removed earlier. I'm trying to get this removed asap as this is the last major bump holding me back from getting a decent auto loan.
Call back and ask for a supervisor, you have to find someone willing to help.
I'll try that one Wednesday since I have the day off. I'll update with the results.
On what basis is the loan scheduled to be excluded? What derogs were reported? Was the loan charged-off?
