Trying to 'wrap' my brain around this!

I had a $70 collection for old elec.  I asked the CA to accept pfd and they refused.  I didn't pay it until it sold off to a different ca.

I called the Ca and said 'I paid this to a different ca, can you delete"...oh sure, no problem as soon as the elec company tells me it's paid.

Well, ok.  I filed with BBB and they agreed to delete.

Wouldn't it have been to their benefit to accept the pfd?  Just silly (IMHO)

They sold it to another CA for pennies on the dollar. They bought it from the electric company for pennies on the dollar.

All in all,

They're making their money.

Good job though!

When you file a complaint with the BBB  what is the reason for the complaint?
