I disputed inaccuracies on my report and commented the following:
"My first reported delinquency was in 2007, which is more then 7 years old and should be removed. TU and EQ has already removed this CO off their reports. "
I didn't use abbreviations in the actual dispute.
Ah, then they apparently did not delete anything, but merely granted early exclusion of the CO.
If the DOFD was in 2007, mandatory credit report exclusion would not occur until mid-2015 at the earliest.
Exclusion of a CO is not required until after 7 years plus 180 days from the reported DOFD.
Additionally, CRAs dont delete COs based on expiration of the exclusion period. The CO is still in your file, it has simply been excluded from your CR at an earlier time.
Ook , good to know. I figured it was because the Outcome said deleted.
