I did some research in nyc courts site.
As mentioned, I had a summons in late '06, I responded to attorney's office/CA and made payment arrangements instead.
I defaulted in May, then called in August to pay in full. They said 'ok we'll mark judgment as paid in full'
When looking online it shows the case was opened in 8/06 and disposed in 7/08. This is the one I paid in 8/08.
Trying to figure out what/if I can challenge; obviously stupid me makde payments and didn't get case dismissed; however I never got further notification of court date(s) and it seems they simply got judgment on will.
What can I challenge here? I really need this off...
