Update to my situation

So the company I had paid for deletion on a couple of medical debts has apparently been bought out (which would explain why I'd never gotten any mail regarding payments or agreement). As they were bought out, they had marked my collection as Paid in Full. Needless to say I am completely livid at the moment. Before I go ahead an start acting before thinking, I figured it best to get feedback from the community as to the best way to handle this situation. If anybody could please give me some type of advice, it would be much appreciated!

Re: Update to my situation

Well you could contact the new collection agency and see if they'll do the deletion or you could file a BBB complaint for not honoring their word and deleting.

Re: Update to my situation

Yeah, I'm definitely filing a complaint. The new CA claimed to not have the option to delete. Something seems really fishy about it. I'm debating as to whether or not I wanna dispute it. The account is currently saying it's closed on both TU and Experian, but it also says there's still a balance. So I'm a bit trumped at the moment.
