All a credit repair agency can do is send dispute letters over and over again no one need pay them for this service.

Re: Using Lexington Law

They cannot continue to file renewed disputes that are substantially the same as a prior dispute.

Any such disputes can be dismissed as frivolous or irrelevant.

Renewed communications that are only GW request could continue, but would have no requirement for response.

Credit repair organizations are specifically exempt for filing any direct disputes on behalf of a consumer, or in assising the consumer is any such direct disputes.

Only the consumer can use the direct dispute process.  See 16 CFR 660.4(f).

They geerally send renewed GW requests.  They are informal requests that the consumer can file on his/her own.
