I have a Verizon Wireless 90 day past due balance in the past, and since has been paid in full. I tried to send them a letter using the website a lot promote to see if they would remove it, although they just called (less than 2 days after sending it, and I sent it on a Saturday), and said they are unable to do so because they want to report "correctly" and have an obligation. Anyone had any luck with getting Verizon Wireless to remove such items, and any pointers to maybe working to get this removed? I am trying to get as many bad marks removed as possible. We will see how this works!
Hangin,
I have had luck in the past getting things removed from Verizon. But the key, as in all GW letters, is persistence. They denied me countless times but finally they caved in. Whatever you do, don't give up!!! Send out as many GW letters as you can.
llecs is spot on again. Think of it as fishing. If you cast only once and catch nothing, your odds were never very good. But if you cast your line 100 times, chances are you will catch something eventually.
Usually though I will find any address or fax as I can for the company. Try and send something to all levels of management. You are just looking for that one sympathic ear.
