I have a new collection that came on board to all 3 credit companies this month. It is a valid debt that I partially paid and due to a recent long term breakup I forgot about it and haven’t paid the rest. I have moved and Verizon sold the debt to MRS associaties. MRS is not a nice collection agency and called my work and left a msg on cell stating that they are bringing me to court, etc. long story short I hired Lemberg law to take care of MRS , but should I call Verizon and do a pay for delete or what?.
I think Verizon has 90 days to sell the debt to another agency. Any help would be apreciated
