Got a notice from Score Watch and my score had increased from 638 to 647... I know it's a small bump, but for me it is huge as my score hasn't been above 640 in a long time... AND it's the minimum required for an FHA loan which I am beginning to consider. I believe it's due to WF increasing my credit limit but it might have been something else.
And given that I just paid off my CO card completely, bringing my util down a bunch since my limits are still relatively low, I'm looking forward to another small bump until my WF card is paid off which should bring it up even more.
Over the past year, getting secured cards, lowering utilization, and bringing my loans out of default have helped big time in bringing my score from 550's (when I first found myFICO) to where it is now.
So again... small bump but SUPER PUMPED that I am nearly 100 pts higher than I was this time last year.

Good job! I hope to be where you are sometime in the near future! My current FICO score from EQ is 546..very low but I just recently opened another secured cap 1 card (first one charged off) and I'm with the fingerhut Fresh start program hoping to boost my score like you have, while also trying to get some negatives removed in the mean time. I've never even been in the 600's & that is my first goal, it's nice reading posts like yours for encouragement!
