WOW!!!! Midland Success in the making...

Well, I was finally able to settle my Midland account several days ago.  I immeidately emailed execs from the list provided.  I received a response the same day from the CEO.  He stated that he had fowarded the info to someone.  Well today (04-15-11), I get an email from a Consumer Relations Liaison from Midland.  Email stated she couldn't discuss isssues via email.  So I politely called her, and gave her my name.  She stated she was deleting at that moment, and would send a deletion letter.  

Now, I will just wait and see how long the credit agencies take to delete.  Hopefully, soon.  I will update on how long.  

If you have a Midland account its worth doing it.  Once I had funds I settled the account, and not in full.  Waiting on a couple of more accounts to update.

CONGRATS, eParker! Can you PM me the list you refer to in your message or at least the e-mail to the execs at Midland that you used?  I am trying to settle from a letter that they sent me and the person I am dealing with is VERY unreasonable and unwilling to budge on the offer.

WHOA Congratulations!!!  Could you send me the contacts that you have at midland as well.  I am getting ready to deal with other issues on my credit and leaving midland for last because I have seen people have to struggle with them...  Any help is much appreciated!!!  Thanks in advance and CONGRATULATIONS!!!

OK....checked experian this morning and Midland was deleted .  Now, just waiting on TU and EQ, hopefully early next week they will delete.  I was actually surprised Experian was the first to delete.  I do not have good luck with Experian .  But this time I did.  

Will get those emails to you soon as I can.

That's Great!! Could you also send me the info as well? I have a $2200 balance with Midland as well. I don't have the full amount to settle right now, but maybe in the next couple months I will and can have them remove themselves from my credit. Congrats!!

congrats on your deletion! how did you know how much to pay, if not in full? was it from their settlement offer letter?

Also, as some has already asked, how much did you actually end up settling for?  Was it their suggested amount from the letter?
