Wachovia GW Question

Long story short. I had a checking account with Wachovia. It went into collections first with ER Solutions and later with RJM. I agreed to pay 409 of the 600 debt and RJM agreed to removed. As of 01/31/09 the collection isn't showing for RJM, but is still showing with Wachovia. Since it was a checking account and not a cc or loan can I still send a goodwill. Has anyone had any luck sending a GW to Wachovia and they agreed to remove?

I think your only solution is to contine to send GW letters.  Their operations are still pretty separate from Wells Fargo, so it's in your interest to try to get this taken care of before the full consolidation with WF.  Try to find out the executives' contact info to get your letters up the line . . .

Others will have to respond about their luck with getting Wachovia to GW.
