Want to increase my score

I've been reading the forum for awhile now and I'm not going to do any shorthand because it gets tricky then.

I looked at my fico score which is 620, but I want to get an auto loan soon and I do not want to be paying the estimated 11%. I have about 3 accounts that say bad debt/collections which are all paid up so what can I do to try and get them off my Credit report? Also I have like two 120+ but those accounts got merged with my other installment account I have with that company. What actions can I take to get these off my report? Or am I SOL and have to wait the 7 - 7.5 years?

Re: Want to increase my score

If they are all paid you can send them all GW letters and see if that works.
