Well I paid off my medical collection of 471 2 weeks ago that was showing up on my account and it appeats it was removed from my Experian report. I have yet to see any increase in my score either on experian or MyFico... should I see an increase for it being totally removed?
How old was the collection?
It was reported at teh beginning of 12
you should see a bump cause of it being recent.
It really depends on what ELSE is on your credit reports. if theres tons of other collections then it will not make a difference versus if it were only a couple. also, did you lose age due to a thin file? Sometimes a removal does not result in a score bump And everyone's repordefied fear so there is Oenone answer to the question. Maybe you will see a bump later, due to being rebucketed.
Luckily it was the only one on there. So its nice to get rid of it.
So was it on Equifax because you only mentioned being removed from Experian? If on Experian only it would not affect your myficoEquifax score.
Not to mention the FAKO score doesn't really matter.
No it was on all 3. That was the only one I have seen that it was removed for as of now.
